Is a body of ceramic sculpture that explores ornament as a source of power, transformation, and identity. Drawing from ancient artifacts, armor, architecture, fashion, and speculative futures, these sculptures exist somewhere between relic, organism, monument, and body. They feel familiar yet impossible, inviting viewers into a world where beauty and aggression are inseparable.

Every surface is intentionally adorned with spikes, blades, circuitry, and flowing forms that blur the line between the natural and the synthetic. Rather than functioning as decoration, ornament becomes the language through which each sculpture expresses authority, desire, protection, and presence. These forms appear as though they have evolved over time—objects charged with meaning that resist simple categorization.

My work is rooted in clay but pushes beyond traditional expectations of the medium. Through wheel-thrown construction, hand-built additions, and layered surface treatments, I transform ceramic forms into hybrid sculptures that question the boundaries between craft and fine art, history and futurism, the sacred and the fetishized.

At its core, OBJECTS OF POWER imagines objects that have become more than objects. They are monuments to transformation—charged with the energy of their making and shaped by the belief that power can be constructed through beauty, ornament, and imagination.
